Acquired Brain Injury

benefits of acquired brain injury care in home

What is Acquired Brain Injury?

Brain injury is one of the most catastrophic and difficult injuries to deal with. Causes of brain injury include traumatic blow or injury to the head, severe rotation of the neck or whiplash, and/or lack of oxygen. About 50% of all acquired brain injury (ABI) cases are caused by motor vehicle accidents (MVA) or falls.

Why is ABI Care Important

The brain one of the most complex organs and any damage to it can have severe effects on one’s physical and mental health. If it is not treated properly, the damage to the brain can get worse over time. Therefore, any brain injuries should be diagnosed and treated very carefully.

Benefits of Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) Care

Our caregiver do not just provide home care, they are also an integral part of the rehabilitation team. In order to make sure you receive the best care, we work closely with people such as Personal Injury Lawyers, Case Managers, Occupational Therapists, and social workers.

Family Testimonials

"Truly we don't know what we would have done without Mavencare. We were out of the country and our mother had to get to the hospital fast. Within an hour, Mavencare arranged a caregiver to go with our mom in the ambulance and stay with her until we arrived. Amazing!"
