Mavencare is a home care company. Our caregivers are carefully selected employees who go to seniors' homes to help them with the activities of daily life, including personal support care, medication reminders, and companionship. Mavencare clients typically have a caregiver visit for a few hours a day, a few days per week.

Where are Mavencare's services available?

We are currently operating in New York, Massachusetts, Chicago and the Greater Toronto Area (GTA)

How do I find out if Mavencare is right for my loved one?

It’s best if we can start with a quick chat about care needs and other preferences (our caregivers are sensitive to your lifestyle and dietary preferences). From there, we can find out how Mavencare can help you. Or, if we are unable to help you ourselves, we will point you in the right direction to find another option that meets your needs!

How much does this cost?

The hourly rate depends on the caregiver's skills, experience and location. We will present you with several caregiver options to choose from.

Is there a minimum number of hours per visit?

Yes, we have a minimum visit time of four hours.

Yes, in addition to email, and live chat, you can call us anytime at 1-800-85MAVEN (1-800-856-2836)

What if I have to cancel a care visit?

Please let us know more than 24 hours in advance by email or by phone. If the notice is less than 24 hours, the visit will be charged.

How do you match caregivers to clients?

All our caregivers are carefully screened and only 1/25 applicants meet our high-quality standards. We try to find out as much as possible about our clients during the intake process to make the best possible match. In addition, to the clients' medical history and care needs we take into account interests, hobbies, and culture.

How do you ensure the quality of your caregivers?

In addition to a thorough interview process which includes police background and reference checks, caregivers need to demonstrate that they have completed a recognized personal support (or equivalent) training program.

Is there a caregiver that speaks my language?

Yes! We can match you with Spanish speakers, Chinese speakers, Polish speakers and others.
